ED filed an affidavit, asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was the mastermind behind the liquor policy scam and a pivotal conspirator in the money laundering offense.

Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, representing the ED, stated they required time to examine the document thoroughly.

The AAP Chief was placed under custody by the ED until March 28 after being arrested on March 21 in connection with liquor policy scam.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday called for a "gherao" at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. The protest came amid the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case. Security around PM Modi's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg has been increased.

AAP had dismissed these allegations yesterday, with party sources suggesting that the investigation is biased, being conducted with a political agenda from the BJP office.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha has vehemently denounced her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as "illegal."

Among other financial misconducts, the Cox and Kings company's promoters are charged with bank fraud, money laundering, and faking records.
