As counting began in J&K & Haryana, celebrations erupted outside the Congress HQ in Delhi, showing the party's confidence in reclaiming power.

As counting commenced on Tuesday across 93 centres in all 22 districts of Haryana, the political landscape was charged with anticipation.

Counting of votes in Jammu & Kashmir's Assembly elections began on Tuesday at 8 AM, marking a crucial day for the region.

The first phase will run from October 23 to October 28, followed by the second phase from November 4 to November 10. The third phase will take place between November 12 and November 18, and the final phase will be held from November 20 to November 28

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, spoke to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharje and enquired about his health as Rajya Sabha MP fell ill during an election rally in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections, the Congress party unveiled its manifesto titled ‘Haath Badlega Halaat’ on Saturday.

The manifesto includes a monthly allowance of Rs 2,000 for women and LPG cylinders priced at Rs 500. Kharge pledged to create two lakh jobs for youth and provide 300 units of free electricity to each household
