PM Modi will unveil 31 projects worth ₹8,500 crore in Manipur today, marking a push for recovery in the violence-hit state.

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s expected visit to Manipur on 13 September, the Kuki-Zo Council has extended a warm welcome.

Security forces arrested 29 militants and seized a large cache of arms and ammunition in northeastern Manipur.

Rahul Gandhi in the post caption said even today the state is divided into two parts, following his third visit to Manipur since the violence broke out.

Following this violent attack, the state government took decisive action, suspending internet services in the Kuki-majority district for five days to prevent further escalation.

While three people died on the spot, five others were injured. Those injured were admitted to a hospital.

Rahul Gandhi arrived Manipur's Churachandpur in a helicopter to meet people staying in relief camps.

Prompt response by security forces led to the rescue of civilians of all communities from various minority pockets of areas affected by violence.
