Chandrayaan-3

India's latest space project, Chandrayaan-3, entered lunar orbit in August

The spacecraft is on a swift trajectory, aimed at securing a successful lunar landing ahead of an Indian spacecraft's corresponding pursuit.

ISRO's Chairman, S Somanath, announced that the lander of India's third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, named Vikram will achieve a soft landing on the Moon's surface on August 23.

Between August 9 and August 17, Chandrayaan-3's orbit determination procedure will be scheduled to place the spacecraft in a 100 km circular orbit....

The integrated spacecraft will have to achieve a 100km circular orbit around the Moon before the landing module detaches from the propulsion module.

Keep following to stay up do date about where the Chandrayaan 3 has reached so far.

The ISRO announced on Friday that the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, launched on July 14, has covered approximately two-thirds of the distance to the Moon.

ISRO Chairman S Somanath highlighted three errors that led to Vikram's harsh landing

The Chandrayaan-3 mission's overall cost, at Rs 615 crores, is much less than that of Chandrayaan-2.

The launch off of Chandrayaan-3 is shown in a video posted on Twitter that was shot from inside a plane.
