Byju Raveendran

The company's troubles came to light when Byju's finally released its long-delayed results for the fiscal year ending March 2022.

The edtech company will not be able to pay salaries to employees as the recent funds raised through a rights issue are inaccessible due to a legal dispute with investors.

The Lookout Circular (LOC) issued for Raveendran, at both entry and exit points of the country, was initially issued more than a year ago.

Indian authorities have also investigated the cooperation for possible violations of the country's foreign exchange laws

The board of Byju's is currently composed of Byju Raveendran, his wife Divya Gokulnath, and his brother Riju Raveendran.

Byju's has faced a significant dispute with creditors over a $1.2 billion loan, leading to lawsuits from creditors due to covenant breaches.
