Maharashtra NCP President Jayant Patil said that his party has filed a disqualification suit against Ajit Pawar and eight other individuals who took an oath of office as ministers in the Eknath Shinde-led state cabinet.

NCP Supremo told that common people are his main strength and in next two to three days with Congress and Uddhav Thackeray he will access the current situation.

Ajit Pawar was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister in the Eknath Shinde government

Ajit Pawar has backing of 40 NCP MLAs & 6 NCP MLCs.

Ajit Pawar joined the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra administration as the deputy chief minister.

The Governor swore in Dhananjay Munde, Aatram Dharamaobaba Bhagwantrao, and Aditi Sunil Tatkare as Ministers

As per sources, Ajit Pawar might soon take up the position of state president. From more than 5 year, the position is held by Jayant Patil.

"The situation in the country is such that it would have been wrong to give the responsibility of all states to only one person," says Sharad Pawar

"My grandfather used to tell me that when we got independence, our population was 35 crore and now it has reached 142 crore, and for that, we are all responsible."
