Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal on Friday launched a WhatsApp campaign titled 'Kejriwal ko Aashirwaad'.

India summoned a senior American diplomat to protest against comments made by the US State Department regarding the legal proceedings involving Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

The leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Kejriwal, was detained on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy.

Sunita Kejriwal, wife of jailed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that her husband will reveal the truth regarding the Delhi excise policy case in court on 28 March.

The AAP Chief was placed under custody by the ED until March 28 after being arrested on March 21 in connection with liquor policy scam.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday called for a "gherao" at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. The protest came amid the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case. Security around PM Modi's residence at Lok Kalyan Marg has been increased.

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi said that they have resolved not to play with colours and celebrate Holi this year. She appealed to the countrymen to join them in the fight against cruelty and evil.

AAP asserted on Saturday that an accused-turned-approver had indeed funnelled crores of rupees in electoral bonds to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Kejriwal was arrested the same day the Election Commission of India posted electoral bond data on its website. 

According to the AAP, the provision of free electricity, water, transport, education, and health facilities cannot be categorized as mere 'freebies.'
