I consider myself really fortunate: Kohli

Before the game, Kohli expressed his gratitude for attaining the milestone to bcci.tv. “I consider myself really fortunate to have had such a long playing career for India and a long Test career since I had to work extremely hard to get it. Seeing the game’s durability and the outcomes throughout the years makes you feel good about the effort you’ve put in. So, sure, I’m quite appreciative.

The 500th player from India to represent his country is Kohli. At some point in his international career, he has played alongside the other three players. Up until 2013, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat

Kohli shared a dressing room in international cricket. Tendulkar’s brilliant career ended with 664 victories. Rahul Dravid, the current head coach of India, played 504 games with Kohli when the latter was still just starting his career. Dhoni played 535 matches, while Kohli, who took over as captain before him, made his debut as an international player.
