The first match of the three-match ODI series between India and Bangladesh was played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka on today on Sunday. In this match, Bangladesh thwarted India by one wicket in a close match and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

For the last wicket, Mehidy shared an unbeaten 51-run partnership with Rahman. For India, Siraj took three wickets while Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Sen, playing the first match, took 2-2 wickets.
