Ashwin
Aaron Finch, a former batsman for Australia, believes that Ravichandran Ashwin won’t be able to reach India’s final roster for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. In an interview with Star Sports, Aaron Finch stated that Ashwin has been added to the team for the current three-match ODI series against Australia to serve as a mentor to the youngsters. “I think that relies on how they anticipate the country’s playing surfaces, and by then, I think the trick to selecting a World Cup squad is to consider the back end. But since you need to get there, you can’t spend too much time contemplating it.
I believe the rest of the group who are with the Indian side in this current series against Australia could learn so much about big game play from him, even if I think he could struggle to make it to the last 15. Because Ashwin consistently performs well in important games, whether they are test matches or T20 games, he is someone to watch. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was serving as a mentor to the group at the moment, but, regrettably, I don’t see him making it to the last 15,” he continued.
In addition, Aaron Finch discussed the main bowlers for the World Cup, saying, “Well, Bhuvi is the reason I retired. He’s the one I’ve always tried to avoid, but because neither of us is playing right now, I believe that swinging new ball bowlers pose a threat to everyone. I believe that Siraj, Trent Bolt, Mitchell Starc, and Rabada are currently among the best players in the world.
Faf du Plessis, the great batsman for South Africa, also discussed which bowlers would be crucial at the World Cup, and he concurred with Finch’s choice.

“Yeah, I’m just like Finch. I believe it is based on the wickets. Someone like Siraj, who simply nibbles the ball a little bit on both sides and tries the off stump the entire time, would be a good option if the wicket had something in it.
