Jharkhand: All Govt Offices To Remain Closed Till 2:30 PM On January 22

Office of the Jharkhand CM posts, "On the occasion of the pranpratishtha at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya tomorrow, CM Hemant Soren has directed the Chief Secretary to close all government offices till 2:30 pm on 22nd January 2024 and all government schools for the entire day tomorrow."

Former J&K CM and National Conference President Farooq Abdullah says, "Is Ram the god of only Hindus, RSS, and BJP? Is Ram present only in Ayodhya? And to go there, do you need an invitation? Lord Ram belongs to everyone. There are Ram temples everywhere including in Jammu and Kashmir. Lord Ram resides in our heart, in every particle, but we are not able to recognize him. If we had recognized, there would have been no hatred. Mahatma Gandhi said 'Ram Raj', which meant equality. There are 70% Hindus in our country, are they in danger? But it was made to believe that they were in danger."

NIA arrested juvenile for harboring terrorists involved in killing of five civilians

National Investigation Agency (NIA) yesterday arrested a juvenile for harbouring terrorists involved in the killing of five civilians in Dhangri village of district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir in January last year. The juvenile was incidentally lodged at Observation Home, RS Pura, Jammu in another case, registered at Police Station Gursai, Mendhar, District Poonch. He was taken into custody yesterday by the NIA and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, Rajouri, for remand: NIA

ED Raids Multiple Locations, Seizes Rs. 1.5 Crore Cash, Rs. 21 Lakh in Foreign Currency in Illegal Immigration Case

ED has carried out search operations on 19.01.2024 and 20.01.2024 at 22 locations in Ahmedabad, Delhi, Surat and Mehsana linked to the key conspirators Bobby @ Bharatbhai Patel, Charanjit Singh and others under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 in the case of illegal foreign immigration. During the search operations, cash amounting to Rs. 1.5 Crore approx., foreign currencies equivalent to Rs. 21 lakh, various incriminating documents and digital evidences have been recovered and seized

Moroccan Air Ambulance Crashes in Badakhshan Mountains on Route from Thailand to Moscow

Ministry of Civil Aviation issues statement: A plane that crashed in the mountains of Topkhana alongside the districts of Kuran-Munjan and Zibak of Badakhshan province, was Moroccan registered DF 10 aircraft. The crashed aircraft is a DF-10 (Dassault Falcon) small aircraft registered in Morocco. It is not an aircraft of Indian carriers. The aircraft was an air ambulance and was flying from Thailand to Moscow and did refuelling at Gaya Airport.

Tamil Nadu Bans Live Telecast of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Programs, Faces Criticism for Restricting Shri Ram Worship in Temples

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweets, "Tamil Nadu govt has banned watching live telecast of #AyodhaRamMandir programmes of 22 Jan 24. In TN there are over 200 temples for Shri Ram. In HR&CE managed temples no puja/bhajan/prasadam/annadanam in the name of Shri Ram is allowed. Police are stopping privately held temples also from organising events. They are threatening organisers that they will rip off pandals. Strongly condemn this anti-Hindu, hateful action.

On Ram Temple pranpratishtha, Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam says, "It is correct that the temple has been constructed after the Supreme Court's order. But had Modi not been the Prime Minister of the country, had someone else been the Prime Minister this verdict would not have come and the temple would not have been built.
