New NDA Govt In Bihar Conducts First Cabinet Meeting On Monday
The new NDA government in Bihar conducted its first cabinet meeting on Monday, in which it was decided to call off the budget session scheduled for February 5. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar authorised the calling off of the session. A total of four agendas were approved at the meeting. UCC Committee Formed In Uttarakhand To Submit Report On 2nd February
On the implementation of UCC in the state, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says, "While making a promise to the people of the state in the 2022 assembly elections, we had constituted the UCC Committee, taking a pledge to implement the Uniform Civil Code in the state. The committee has completed its work and on February 2 the UCC committee will submit its report to us. After receiving the report on February 2, it will be brought to the Cabinet and after that action will be taken in the State Assembly to enact the Uniform Civil Code."
