58-year-old worker dies of Covid-19 in Puducherry

A fifty-eight-year-old daily wager died of COVID-19 on Wednesday in a government hospital for chest disease here. Director of Health G Sriramulu told PTI that the worker had co-morbidities, including a cardiac problem. He was first admitted to the Government General Hospital here. As he was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia, he was later shifted to the hospital for chest disease, where he died today. Detailing the current coronavirus situation in Puducherry, Sriramulu said that six people were in home isolation after they tested positive for the virus.

“In Delhi, we have started RTPCR testing,” Delhi Health Minister on the Covid situation

On the Covid situation, Delhi Health Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj says, "In Delhi, we have started RTPCR testing and around 250 to 400 RTPCR tests are being conducted daily. 2 positive cases were there in yesterday's report. A total of 4-5 patients are admitted to the hospital. No death has been reported."

Union Cabinet decisions: Minimum Support Price for Copra for 2024 season

Cabinet approves Minimum Support Price for Copra for 2024 season. The MSP for the 2024 season is an increase of Rs.300/- per quintal for milling copra and Rs.250/- per quintal for ball copra over the previous season. Cabinet approves improvement and widening of 135 km stretch of Khowai-Harina road in Tripura The project involves investment of Rs.2,486.78 crore which includes a loan component of Rs.1,511.70 crore. Cabinet approves construction of New 4.56 km long, 6-lane Bridge across River Ganga connecting Digha and Sonepur in Bihar. The total cost for the project is Rs.3,064.45 crore. The work is targeted to be completed in 42 months from the appointed date.

Tragic Hit-and-Run at Jaipur Nightclub Claims Life of Woman, Injures Another: Suspect Flees Scene After Argument

A woman was killed after she was run over by a car, following an argument at a nightclub in Jaipur on Tuesday night. The incident was caught on camera, which showed the car driver hitting the woman before fleeing the scene. Another man was also injured in the hit-and-run. The woman, Uma Suthar, originally from Madhya Pradesh, was residing in Jaipur and used to manage events.
