Government Takes Swift Action Following Guna Bus Accident: Officials Transferred, Committee Formed for Probe
Taking action on the Guna Bus Accident in Madhya Pradesh, the state government has transferred Guna Collector Tarun Rathi and SP Vijay Kumar Khatri. Delhi Police Enforce Traffic Restrictions Near Connaught Place for New Year’s Eve Celebrations
Delhi Police issued traffic advisory for smooth regulation of traffic in the entire national capital for 31st December. According to the advisory, the restrictions have been made for the areas near Connaught Place and will be in place from 8 pm on December 31, till the conclusion of New Year celebrations. Vehicular traffic will not be allowed in the inner, middle, or outer circle of Connaught Place except for those carrying valid passes.

PM will also inaugurate the newly built Ayodhya Airport and will participate in a public programme where he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore in the state. These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas and projects worth about Rs 4600 crore related to other projects across Uttar Pradesh.
Atishi Writes Urgent Letter to Chief Secretary Over Delayed Ammonia Treatment Plant in Wazirabad Despite CM’s Directive
In view of high ammonia levels in Yamuna River, Delhi’s Water Minister Atishi writes to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar. The letter reads, "CM Arvind Kejriwal given the directions to Delhi Jal Board to set up an ammonia treatment plant in Wazirabad in March. The work was to be finished within 6 months. Despite constant follow-up, DJB has not even started the project."
