The USA, which had been leading the standings for much of the Games, now holds second place with 38 gold, 42 silver, and 42 bronze medals, accumulating a total of 122 medals.
Australia has secured third place with a total of 50 medals, including 18 gold, 18 silver, and 14 bronze. Japan has moved up to fourth place with 18 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze, bringing their total to 43 medals.
Host nation France has slipped to fifth place with 62 medals, comprising 16 gold, 24 silver, and 22 bronze. Britain, which was previously in the top five, has fallen out of the top rankings and now holds 63 medals, including 14 gold, 22 silver, and 27 bronze.
India, with a silver and five bronze medals, is positioned at 61st place in the medal standings.
