Yogi Performed Jalabhishek-Rudrabhishek To Wish For Prosperous & Healthy Life of eople

Gorakhpur: On Mahashivratri, the holy festival of worship of Devadhidev Mahadev Bhole Shankar, Chief Minister and Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed Jalabhishek at Piteshwarnathshiv temple of Bharohiya and Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva at Shaktipeeth of Gorakhnath temple. During this, he wished for a healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful life of the people of the state.

Chief Minister Yogi reached Piteshwarnath Shiv Temple at Bharohiya in PPganj from Lucknow on Friday morning. Here he performed the darshan of Baba Piteshwarnath, worshiped and conducted Jalabhishek with rituals. He prayed for the welfare, happiness, prosperity, and peace of the entire human race. The Piteshwarnath temple, which was established during the Pandava period, has a deep connection with Gorakshpeeth. Gorakshpeethadhishwar comes here every Mahashivaratri to perform Jalabhishek. After performing Jalabhishek, the Chief Minister met local public representatives and people on the premises of Guru Gorakhnath Vidyapeeth located in front of Shiv Temple in Bharohiya.

He tenderly touched and blessed the children’s heads to ensure their well-being. He also made some jokes with people. On several local development issues, he urged authorities that there should be no impediments to progress. On the arrival of the Chief Minister in Bharohia, MLA Fateh Bahadur Singh, Block Chief representative of Bharohia Sanjay Singh, Block Chief of Jangal Kauria Brijesh Yadav, Gorakh Singh and many others were present.

Then, on reaching Gorakhnath temple from Bharohiya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath first had darshan and worship of Guru Gorakhnath. He bowed his head at the tomb of Gurudev Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath. Thereafter, in the Shakti temple located on the first floor of the monastery in the Gorakhnath temple complex, he bathed Lord Bhole Shankar with milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar and performed Rudrabhishek with cow milk and sugarcane juice. The priests of the monastery and the Vedapathi Brahmins completed the ritual of Rudrabhishek by chanting the Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyayi of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister performed Havan and Aarti and prayed to Mahadev Shiva for the welfare of the world.

Chief Minister and  Yogi Adityanath also worshiped at the Shiva temple located in the Gorakhnath temple complex. He worshiped Lord Nandi here and performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shankar. After completing the rituals of Mahashivratri at Gorakhnath temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited Mansarovar temple. Here he had darshan, worship, and Jalabhishek of Bholenath.
