A female filed an FIR against a man, named Anshul Jain who was accused of making false promises of marriage and then tried to bankrupt her. They then left for Gurugram to attend the wedding. He said that there was a problem with the car’s tyres when they had travelled approximately half a kilometre.
She was asked to move out so that he could examine the tyre. He immediately left with all the luggage & belonging which contained a Samsung S-fold phone, 300 grammes of gold jewellery, Rs. 15,000 in cash, three ATM cards, gifts, and other items. He later took Rs. 50,000 from her ATM cards.

The team carefully studied the suspected conman’s methods, and it was discovered that he solely used WhatsApp numbers to access electronic matrimonial targets and contact them, so they obtained their information.
The team employed surveillance to learn more about the purported phone numbers and snatched him in Panaji, Goa. All potential hiding places were raided, and he was captured in Panji. During the course of the interrogation of the accused, Anshul Jain, he confessed to all of his crimes and sold all of his gold jewellery to a single jeweller in Karolbagh.

He further admits that he made 12 lakhs from this fraud by selling the jewellery and sending money to the casino’s complainant from his account. He paid for his rented home and was enjoying lavishly in Goa. He had previous three criminal investigations by Rajasthan Police in a crime involving a similar scheme in Udaipur.

After experiencing commercial setbacks and having his family forsake him, he developed websites that defraud individuals. Through matrimonial sites, he specifically targeted women, dazzling them with his profile before defrauding them.
