In the latest development in the sex video case involving Prajwal Revanna, victims have approached SIT. In a Sex Video case rooted in Karnataka over 30 victims have approached to Special Investigative Team probing the case. Absconding JD(S) MP and grandson of former Prime Minister Deve Gowda, Prajwal Revanna is the prime accused in this matter.
Even after assurance of safety, victims are not ready to file formal complaints because they are so frightened, IANS claims quoting sources.
Taking the graveness of the matter, SIT has established a helpline number.
As far as the investigation is concerned, SIT has issued notice to Ajith who is a driver of Prajwal’s mother. The investigative team suspects that Ajith is forcing her to say that she was not sexually assaulted. The victim was allegedly kidnapped by Prajwal’s father MLA HD Revanna.
IANS sources in the investigative team claim that her video was recorded by Prajwal before she was rescued by the SIT. Later the video was made viral.
Ajith had been asked to appear before the SIT twice, but he had not shown up to be questioned. The police are currently looking for him.
FIR against Prajwal Revanna include charges of rape, Sexual assault, forcibly videographing sexual acts to threaten the victim and disrobing women.
Former Prime Minister Deve Gowda sent a harsh warning to his grandson on Thursday. Gowda posted on social media, saying, “I have issued a warning to Prajwal Revanna to return immediately from wherever he is and subject himself to the legal process. He should not test my patience any further.”
