In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Congress party has demanded concrete proof of the government’s counter-terror response, known as Operation Sindoor.
In response, Union Minister Giriraj Singh issued a scathing rebuttal, accusing the opposition of aiding India’s adversaries.
Speaking to reporters in Begusarai, Union Minister Singh directly criticised the Congress and its allies, alleging that they were undermining national interests.
“Some people in this country, including Congress, remain aligned with the ‘Tukde-Tukde’ gang and continue to speak the language of Pakistan,” he said.
Escalating his attack, the BJP leader mockingly suggested that Congress leaders should approach Pakistan for the evidence they seek.
“If they are so desperate for proof, let them go to Pakistan and ask their Prime Minister. There, they’ll find all the evidence in the form of destroyed terrorist hideouts, shattered airbases, and the panic clearly visible in their official meetings,” he remarked.
Union Minister Singh claimed that India’s retaliatory strikes under Operation Sindoor destroyed nine airbases and several terror launchpads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and inside Pakistani territory.

He argued that Pakistan’s response serves as undeniable evidence of the operation’s success.
“Today, terrorists in Pakistan are holding closed-door meetings and abusing PM Modi. If that’s not proof of the strike’s impact, then what is?” he added.
During a visit to Bihar, PM Modi confirmed that terrorist hideouts had been destroyed in a swift and precise military operation.
At a rally in Karakat (Bikramganj), PM Modi stated that Operation Sindoor is not yet over, warning that India would deliver a fitting response to any future terrorist provocations.
Union Minister Singh’s comments underscore the BJP’s firm stance on national security, particularly as the Bihar Assembly elections approach.
The party appears determined to reinforce its image of strong leadership and decisive action under PM Modi.
Meanwhile, the opposition, led by the Congress, continues to demand transparency and proof, setting the stage for a heated political debate over national defence and public accountability.
