India To Get Normal Monsoon Despite El Nino: IMD
Several states of India including Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram are likely to witness lightning, gusty winds and heavy rain on Wednesday, according to the IMD (India Meteorological Department).

Over Arunachal Pradesh, isolated areas may get heavy rains.
Across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, isolated thunderstorms with lightning, hail, and strong winds are likely to occur.
In remote areas, thunderstorms with lightning and hail are possible. Across Madhya Maharashtra and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal Sikkim.
Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Kerala, and Mahe are all expected to see thunderstorms and lightning.
In Delhi, the minimum temperature is likely to settle at 18 degree Celsius. The sky will be seen partly clouded, according to the Meanwhile the maximum temperature will rise up to 34 degrees Celsius.

Prediction of atmospheric conditions
Western disturbance in the middle and upper tropospheric levels and Cyclonic circulation will be seen over Southwest Rajasthan and its neighbourhood.
Scattered light or moderate rains with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (speed 30–40 kmph) is expected over North interior Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Northeast India due to the likely interaction of the middle tropospheric westerly trough with lower tropospheric easterly winds over Central, East, and Northeast India.
The weather agency has predicted that throughout northeast Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana from March 16 to 18, over Madhya Maharashtra on March 15 and 16, and over Marathawada on March 16, isolated hailstorms are expected.
Arunachal Pradesh may lash with heavy rainfall.
Also, rain with thunderstorms and lighting in the western Himalayan region may occur.
