Ahead of Mahakumbh 2025, a cutting-edge control room has been established in Prayagraj to oversee the world’s largest religious gathering. Designed by Bollywood art director Pawan Pandey, the state-of-the-art facility will serve as the central hub for managing the event’s operations.
The control room will accommodate over 100 officials, who will monitor the event’s progress and ensure everything runs smoothly. It is equipped with a conference hall for key meetings, ensuring efficient coordination before and during the fair.
The construction of the control room follows Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision to create a grand and secure Mahakumbh. It is designed to handle all aspects of the event, including security, administration, medical services, and water supply monitoring.
The room features an L-shaped design, offering ample space and high-tech amenities. It will host VIP meetings and accommodate specialized cabins for officials overseeing various operations. A media block is also being set up to provide real-time information to the public and ensure widespread coverage of the event.
Pandey, known for his work in films and reality shows, completed the control room ahead of schedule. The facility is decorated with artwork inspired by Prayagraj’s iconic temples and religious sites, contributing to its cultural beauty.
The new control room is set to become the nerve center for Mahakumbh 2025, ensuring a seamless experience for devotees and setting a benchmark for future events.
