Sharad Pawar Reaches YB Chavan, 13 MLA Attend Meeting Convened By NCP Supremo

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has reached YB Chavan Auditorum in Mumbai, his loyalist gathered at the auditorium to show strength and support to NCP Supremo. According to reports total 13 MLA are present at meet convened by Sharad Pawar.

Top NCP leaders who attended the meeting are Anil Deshmukh, Jayant Patil, Balasaheb Patil, Sunil Bhusara, Rajesh Tope, Chetan Tupe, Kiran Lahmate, Ashok Pawar, Rohit Pawar, Rajendra Shingn, Jitendra Ahwad, Sandeep Kshirsaga and Rohit Patil (Suman Patil is not there and is being represented by her son Rohit Patil).

Ajit faction leader Chhagan Bhujbal said, “We are being accused of coming here (with Ajit Pawar) for fear of legal cases. This is not correct. Dhananjay Munde, Dilip Walse Patil and Ramraje Nimbalkar have no cases against them. There are several other people who have no cases against them but are still here. We are here only because there are some close aides around you Saheb (Sharad Pawar), they are out to finish the party. We are ready to come back to you once you sideline them. We will come back to you then.”

Ajit Pawar also conducted a meeting today at Bandra which was attended by 29 MLA out of 53 from the party. Faction led by Ajit Pawar needs support of 36 MLA to avoid disqualification. According to sources present in meeting at Bandra, party workers were made to sign affidavit to show their allegiance to Ajit Pawar led NCP.
