The foundation of good governance in any state is strengthened by good law and order. Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath said these things as the chief guest at the convocation parade ceremony of 74 new Deputy SPs organized at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Moradabad on Monday.

After undergoing 18 months of training in the Police Academy, 74 Deputy SPs passed out after knowing the new laws. These include 18 female and 56 male officers. The Chief Minister honoured the trainee officers who performed excellently in internal and external subjects during the training.

After taking the salute of the parade at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, Chief Guest Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing all the new Deputy SPs, said that I congratulate 74 new Deputy Superintendents of Police for making them a part of the Civil Police, the world’s largest police force. Best wishes to you for completing your training with your hard work, dedication and dedication.
Yogi Adityanath further said that training was provided to all the trainees about the new laws under the BNS 2023. He said that we have set a standard in police recruitment, under which the share of daughters in about 20 percent police personnel should be there.

That is why today out of 74 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 18 daughters have also become Deputy Superintendents of Police. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the more one sweats during training, the less blood is shed in the job. The present smart police should be as modern as it is alert and as active as it should be responsible. You have to move beyond the old techniques of investigation and punishment. We have to perform our duties keeping in mind the safety of the general public. Challenges never end in the police department, yet you have to set a successful example of integrity before the public. The Chief Minister said that law and order is the priority of our government.

Our government has a policy of zero tolerance towards crime. There have been no riots in Uttar Pradesh in the last seven years and festivals have been conducted peacefully. The law and order system of Uttar Pradesh is being seen all over India as a model of good governance, which is a matter of pride for us. There has been immense increase in police recruitment in the last seven years. More than 1.60 lakh were recruited in the police department. Recently, Police Recruitment Examination-2024 for 60 thousand posts was completed successfully.
During this, Director General of Police Prashant Kumar, DG Training Trilotma Verma, Director of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy and Additional Director General of Police Rajeev Sabharwal, ADG Amit Chandra, ADG Satish Ganesh etc. were present. Trainee Deputy SP Prakhar Pandey received the overall best award.

In the convocation parade ceremony at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy on Monday, the best overall award was given to Trainee Deputy SP Prakhar Pandey, best award in internal subjects was given to Trainee Deputy SP Akanksha Pandey, best award in external subjects was given to Trainee Deputy SP Udit Narayan Paliwal. Apart from this, Parade Commander Trainee Deputy SP Udit Narayan Paliwal was also awarded by the Chief Minister.
