SBI Submits Complete Details Of Electoral Bonds To EC Today

State Bank of India (SBI) has finally given all the information related to electoral bonds to the Election Commission today. SBI, in its reply to the Supreme Court on March 21, told that the new information also includes the serial numbers of the bonds.

It is noteworthy that last time the Supreme Court had reprimanded the Chairman of SBI for not knowing the serial numbers of the electoral bonds. The Supreme Court had ordered SBI to disclose all the information including alphanumeric number and serial number, date of purchase and amount of each bond by 5 pm on March 21.

Today, SBI submitted the above information to the Election Commission one and a half hour before the Supreme Court’s deadline. After which the Election Commission has also uploaded the new data of electoral bonds on its website.
