Robbers Steal Entire Cupboard with 55 lakh Cash and Jewellery in MP While 10 Family Members Sleep Peacefully

Strange heist occurred when criminals broke into a farmer’s home in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, and stole a cupboard containing Rs 55 lakh in cash as well as gold and silver jewellery.

While this happened the ten of this family members continued to sleep peacefully inside the Chikli village home.

Officials are speculating that this robbery is done by someone who had the information of the the cash kept in the cupboard. Not to take any chance they decided to carry the entire cupboard with them since they believed that any attempt to break the cupboard would wake up everyone.

They robbers carried the cupboard to a short distance from the house, stole the money and valuables within, and then escaped, abandoning the cupboard in a field.

The Police officer said, “The farmer had recently sold his land and had kept the same amount in the house. Police have registered a case against the robbers, and are investigating the matter.”
