In a vibrant display of tradition and technology, the International Temple Management Council hosted a grand religious event on Friday at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium, marking the official launch of the ‘Bhagwa App’.
The event saw participation from several distinguished guests, including Padma Shri award-winning singer Kailash Kher and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
Renowned Indian pop-rock and folk singer Kailash Kher captivated the massive crowd with his spiritually charged performance.
With popular tracks like ‘Jai Jai Kara’ and ‘Bam Lahari’, Kher energised the atmosphere, leaving thousands in the stadium swaying to the rhythms of devotion and patriotism.

His performance served as a musical tribute to Sanatan Dharma and its cultural richness.
Notably, Kher’s repertoire includes over 300 Bollywood songs sung in 18 languages, heavily influenced by Indian folk traditions.
Moreover, the event distinguished itself by seamlessly blending spirituality with modern digital outreach.
A key feature was its digital broadcast and 3D presentations, allowing a wider audience to participate virtually.
Organisers, including National General Secretary Deep Sihag Sisay and Delhi State General Secretary Tanish Shekhar Gupta, emphasised the need to embrace technology in order to engage the younger generation with their religious and cultural roots.
Adding to the event’s momentum, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta delivered a passionate address, drawing enthusiastic responses from attendees.
She voiced her commitment to reshaping the cultural identity of Delhi, stating:
“Currently, Delhi is known for its forts and tombs, but we are determined to change that. We will create a new tourism landscape, highlighting national monuments and the Prime Minister’s Museum.”
Her speech underscored the role of Sanatan values in shaping the future, as she urged Hindu youth to rise and reclaim their cultural heritage.
“This is the time when Hindu hearts should awaken, the youth should join, Sanatan should stand up, then the whole country will move towards a new future,” she declared.
While Gupta’s remarks received loud applause from BJP and RSS supporters present, they also sparked criticism from opposition leaders.
Congress representatives labelled the comments as divisive and accused the Chief Minister of promoting a communal narrative.
Ultimately, the ‘Bhagwa App’ launch event was more than a religious gathering.
It marked a notable attempt to connect age-old beliefs with digital innovation, highlighting a modern approach to cultural preservation.
With performances, speeches, and digital integration, the programme successfully attracted youth attention while promoting the essence of Sanatan Dharma.
This fusion of faith, culture, and cutting-edge technology could pave the way for similar initiatives aimed at reconnecting India’s youth with its spiritual roots.
