Police in north Delhi’s Kashmere Gate neighbourhood said that Congress leader Rajesh Lilothia’s wife died in an early-morning collision in which a speeding four-wheeler allegedly struck her car.

When the police arrived, they discovered a Baleno car that had been involved in an accident and that the victim had already been taken by CAT Ambulance to a trauma centre.

He said that Madhu Rajesh Lilothia, a 55-year-old inhabitant of Anand Parvat, was declared dead at the hospital at 6.03 am.
