Rahul Gandhi Takes a Dig at Government, Says BJP Misusing Investigative Agencies

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi while addressing Indians at an event   ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’ in San Francisco took a dig at Central Government and said that the leading ruling party BJP is threatening people and taking undue advantage of government agencies and misusing them while referring to raids on the opposition leaders at their residence by the investigative agencies.

Government tried to stop Bharat Jodo Yatra

He also accused the government of using all their power in halting the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Congress Leader also added, “The Bharat Jodo Yatra started because all the instruments that we needed to connect with the people were controlled by the BJP-RSS.”

Rahul to Give speech on Indian Democracy

The former Wayanad Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi arrived US on Tuesday. He will also be giving a speech on the future of Indian democracy, freedom of speech, and sustainable and inclusive economic growth at National Press Club in Washington DC. Rahul Gandhi also interacted with academics and civil society, activists at University of California, Santa Cruz.

Travelled US on ordinary passport

Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi will later visit New York, where will meet thinkers at the Harvard Club of Harvard University. After his disqualification as the Lok Sabha MP he travelled US on an ordinary passport as he had to surrender his diplomatic passport.
