Rahul Gandhi attributes Parliament security breach to unemployment and price rise

Rahul Gandhi claimed on Saturday that the security breach in Parliament earlier this week was caused by rising unemployment and inflation as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies.

“What caused the security breach to occur? The largest problem facing this nation is unemployment, which is out of control nationwide. Following a meeting with leaders of the Gujarat section of the Congress to discuss election strategy, Gandhi informed reporters that Modiji’s policies were to blame for the unemployment of India’s youth.

On December 13, there was a serious security breach when two individuals entered the Lok Sabha through the visitors’ gallery, went through three levels of security, and detonated smoke within the chambers. They had smoke canisters hidden in their shoes. Two of the six suspects, Neelam Singh and Amol Shinde, have family members who have stated that they are distressed because of their unemployment.

Gandhi posed this question in a different post on X (previously Twitter): “Where are the jobs? The young people are in a precarious situation. We need to give the young people jobs and concentrate on this issue. There has undoubtedly been a security breach, but unemployment—the nation’s largest problem—is to blame.

Gandhi, however, was retaliated against by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Rahul Gandhi never lets you down—he talks garbage all the time. For the record, India’s jobless rate is 3.2%, the lowest it has been in six years. Rather, Rahul Gandhi and the leaders of the I.N.D.I Alliance need to clarify how the individuals implicated in the Parliament breach were closely connected to the Congress, TMC, and CPI(M). BJP IT chief Amit Malviya wrote on X that Rahul Gandhi in particular needs to explain his relationship to Asim Sarode, who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra and has volunteered to help the intruders with legal matters.

In relation to the event, five people have been taken into custody, while the Delhi Police are searching for a possible sixth conspirator. Under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), all of them have been charged.

The only apparent connection amongst the six is that they got to know each other via the “Bhagat Singh Fan Club” Facebook page.

According to reports, the accused told the police that they intended to draw attention to problems like Manipur’s violence and unemployment and make sure Parliament addressed them. It was PM Modi they also wanted to talk to.

Digvijaya Singh, a senior Congress lawmaker, has also connected unemployment to the security breech. Joblessness is a serious problem. All politicians, but especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, should think carefully about the reality that jobless youth are compelled to commit such heinous deeds on the day that terrorists assaulted Parliament, he wrote on X.
