The Prime Minister’s visit to Shankaracharya Hill, also known as Takht-e-Suleiman, holds immense historical and religious significance. Situated atop a hill overlooking the picturesque Dal Lake in Srinagar, this ancient site is believed to have been visited by the great philosopher Adi Shankaracharya during the 9th century. It is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, adding to its multifaceted cultural importance.
As Prime Minister Modi resumes his journey to Srinagar, his brief yet poignant stopover at Shankaracharya Hill will undoubtedly be remembered as a moment that transcended politics and echoed the timeless spirit of unity, diversity, and spiritual harmony that defines the essence of India.
