Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced the day of his swearing-in ceremony with solemn tributes to two eminent leaders of India, Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on Sunday.
At the iconic Rajghat, PM Modi laid floral wreaths and offered his respects to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, whose ideals continue to guide the nation’s ethos.

Subsequently, he paid homage to the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Sadaiv Atal, the memorial dedicated to the former Prime Minister known for his statesmanship and oratory skills.

Prior to the swearing-in ceremony, Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff Manoj Pande, Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, and Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air-Vice Marshall Amar Preet Singh, also paid homage at the National War Memorial.
The solemn moment at the memorial, dedicated to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation, underscored the Prime Minister’s reverence for the armed forces.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7:15 PM with President Droupadi Murmu administering the oath of office to Prime Minister Modi and his Council of Ministers.
The event, steeped in tradition and symbolism, marks the commencement of Modi’s second consecutive term as the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy.
