PM Modi Unveils Glimpses of Historic Ram Temple Event, Says ‘What We Saw In Ayodhya..’

In a historic event that unfolded on January 22 in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the elaborate consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum of the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Surrounded by revered sages and saints, PM Modi performed the rituals with utmost devotion before addressing the gathered public.

The Prime Minister, visibly moved after consecrating his life in the temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, took to Twitter to express his sentiments. In his tweet, he declared, ‘What we saw in Ayodhya yesterday, on 22 January, will remain imprinted in our memories for years to come,’ accompanying the message with a shared video capturing the sacred moments.

Ram Lalla will no longer live in the tent

During his address on the momentous occasion, PM Modi joyously exclaimed, “Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai… today our Ram has come.” He extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation and attendees, describing the experience of witnessing the divine consciousness in the sanctum sanctorum. However, he admitted, “There is so much to say, but my throat is blocked.”

We have inherited the patience of centuries

Highlighting the significance of the event, PM Modi announced, “Our Ram Lalla will no longer live in a tent; he will now reside in the divine temple.” He expressed his firm belief that the emotions of devotees across the world resonated with the monumental moment. Modi emphasized, “This moment is supernatural…this atmosphere, this moment is the blessings of Lord Shri Ram on all of us.”

Reflecting on the enduring legacy of patience, PM Modi stated, “Today we have inherited the patience of centuries, today we have got the temple of Shri Ram. Even a thousand years from now, people will talk about this date, this moment. And, what a great blessing it is that we are living this moment, seeing it actually happening.”

The day held additional significance as Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Shiva temple located at Kuber Tila within the Ram temple complex. He paid respects to the idol of Jatayu and acknowledged the dedication of the workers involved in the construction of the Ram temple. The Prime Minister concluded the day by extending greetings to the guests who attended the consecration ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, marking it as a special and historic day in the cultural and religious heritage of India.”
