Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh and Odisha on October 25, where he will attend an Indian Air Force (IAF) aerial display in Varanasi and inaugurate key financial infrastructure projects in Bhubaneswar.
In Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister will visit Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, and attend an aerial display by the Indian Air Force at Namo Ghat. The event will showcase the capabilities of the IAF and highlight the country’s growing defence strength.
The visit is likely to draw attention to the role of the armed forces in safeguarding India’s airspace and their contribution to national security.
The aerial display will also offer people an opportunity to witness the IAF’s operational capabilities.
After his Uttar Pradesh visit, PM Modi will travel to Odisha’s capital, Bhubaneswar, where he will inaugurate the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute.
The new facilities aim to strengthen India’s financial infrastructure and improve cybersecurity capabilities in the banking sector.
The RBI Data Centre will support the secure management and processing of financial data, while the training institute will focus on developing expertise in cybersecurity.
The initiatives come amid the growing importance of digital transactions and financial services across the country. As India expands its digital economy, protecting financial systems and sensitive data from cyber threats has become increasingly important.
The Prime Minister’s visit to both states will combine a defence-focused public event with initiatives aimed at strengthening financial security and digital infrastructure.
The programmes reflect the government’s broader focus on national security, technological development and modernisation.
The visit is also expected to underline the importance of building robust institutions to support India’s expanding digital ecosystem while showcasing the capabilities of the country’s armed forces.
