PM Narendra Modi on Friday took a swipe at Arvind Kejriwal over the issue of corruption, saying he could have also built ‘Sheesh Mahal’ for himself. PM further added that for him the houses for the poor were more important.
Prime Minister while addressing the public meeting in Ashok Vihar’s Ramlila Ground. He took a veiled jab at former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, calling out at him for allegedly constructing an opulent residence for himself as CM.
“The country knows it well that Modi never built a home for himself but has built more than 4 crore houses for the poor… ‘Mai bhi koi sheesh mahal bana sakta..” (I could have also built a palace for myself)’. I urge all of you, whenever you interact and meet with slum dwellers, to ensure to tell them on my behalf that they will get ‘pucca’ houses, if not today, then tomorrow”, he added.
PM Modi Compares AAP With Disaster
PM Modi takes a deep dig by comparing AAP with disaster, he termed the ruling party in Delhi as ‘AAP-da’. “AAP has come like a disaster for Delhi. First theft and then arrogance pushed Delhi into a disaster-like situation. For the last 10 years, Delhi has been surrounded by a big disaster and this disaster government has stopped the development of Delhi. We will not tolerate disaster, we will change it”, he further added.

Development Projects In Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two significant urban redevelopment projects in Delhi on Friday. At Nauroji Nagar, he unveiled the World Trade Centre (WTC) at 12:45 PM, marking a key milestone in modernizing the city’s infrastructure.
Following the WTC inauguration, PM Modi inaugurated the General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar. The new residential facility is expected to enhance the living standards for government employees and address housing needs in the city.
