PM Modi Slams Congress, RJD In Bihar; Claims NDA Ushered New Era Of Social Justice

PM Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), accusing them of decades of misrule and neglect in Bihar.

Addressing a massive public rally in Karakat, PM Modi asserted that real progress and social justice began only after the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) came to power.

PM Modi Blames Opposition For Bihar’s Backwardness

PM Modi held the Congress and RJD responsible for keeping Bihar’s backwards classes and Dalits deprived of basic necessities for decades.

He said that these parties are now speaking about social justice only because their political existence is under threat.

“For decades, people from the Backward Classes and Dalits remained deprived of basic amenities like toilets and drinking water. This never concerned them. Today, they talk about welfare because their existence is at stake,” the Prime Minister noted.

PM Modi Highlights NDA’s Achievements

Listing key developmental milestones, the Prime Minister said the NDA government has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the poor and underprivileged.

He cited several welfare initiatives:

  • Construction of 4 crore pucca houses
  • Goal of 3 crore Lakhpati Didis
  • 12 crore tap water connections
  • Free medical care for senior citizens

“We have provided basic amenities to the poor and aim to reach 100% of beneficiaries,” PM Modi told the gathering.

Criticises Past ‘Jungle Raj’ Governance

Drawing a stark contrast with previous regimes, PM Modi said that under the Congress-RJD alliance, people lived in despair without basic infrastructure or opportunities.

“People didn’t have toilets, Dalits had no pucca homes, and bank accounts were inaccessible. Many had to migrate out of the state in search of a better life,” the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi demanded answers from the Congress and RJD for the years of neglect and underdevelopment in Bihar.

“They must explain why generations of people were kept backwards,” Prime Minister Modi said, challenging the opposition’s credibility on issues of social justice.

Highlighting regional economic progress, Prime Minister Modi spoke about the Centre’s efforts to promote Bihar’s makhana (fox nut) industry.

He noted that the Government of India’s decision to grant it a Geographical Indication (GI) tag has benefited lakhs of farmers.

Inclusive Development Core Of NDA Agenda

Concluding his address, PM Modi reaffirmed his government’s commitment to inclusive growth.

“Our mission is to ensure every deprived family benefits from public welfare schemes. No one should be left out of the development journey,” the Prime Minister noted.

PM’s address marked a key campaign push, contrasting the NDA’s progress with the opposition’s past record.
