PM Narendra Modi, during his visit to Bihar on Saturday, declared that he had fulfilled his promise of punishing the perpetrators of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack ‘beyond imagination’.
Addressing a massive rally in Karakat, he linked his actions to the ideals of Lord Shri Ram, stating that keeping promises is a core principle of his governance.
PM Modi began his address by invoking the values of Lord Shri Ram and emphasising the principle: ‘Pran jaaye par vachan na jaaye’ (Life may go, but promises must be kept).
He said this commitment shapes his government’s approach and actions.
Recalling the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of Indian civilians on April 22, Prime Minister Modi said he had vowed from Bihar’s soil the next day to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“I promised that those who carried out the attack and those who supported them would face punishment beyond imagination. I have come to Bihar after fulfilling that promise,” he declared.
PM Modi revealed that Indian forces had targeted and destroyed the bases and hideouts of the masterminds behind the attack.
The Prime Minister credited the Indian military with delivering a decisive and powerful response, claiming, “Our forces brought the Pakistani forces to their knees. Our forces destroyed and decimated their airbases within minutes. This is the New Bharat.”
He said Operation Sindoor warned Pakistan and the world about the cost of terrorism and attacks on Indian women.
The Prime Minister honoured BSF Sub-Inspector Imtiyaz from Bihar, martyred in the counter-terror operation.
He hailed Imtiyaz’s bravery and sacrifice as a proud reflection of Bihar’s legacy of valour.
PM Modi reaffirmed India’s fight against terrorism and warned Pakistan of more consequences if it persists.
“Operation Sindoor is just a glimpse of our military strength. If Pakistan dares to repeat its mistakes, our forces will once again dismantle their terror infrastructure and silence their handlers,” he warned.
The speech reinforced national security and the PM’s strong leadership ahead of the elections.
