January 21 celebrates the Statehood Day of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Manipur, marking their full statehood achieved in 1972.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recognised this historic milestone by sending personal letters to the Chief Ministers and the Governor.
In these letters, he praised the states’ remarkable journeys, rich cultural heritage, and their citizens’ contributions to India’s development.
