Portion of Rahul Gandhi’s remark expunged from the proceeding of Parliament made on July 1. During the discussion on President’s address Rahul Gandhi, hitting out at BJP, said, “those who call themselves Hindus… are engaged in violence and hate.”
The expunged portion includes his remark on Hindu and others.

The Congress MP began by taking aim at the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and waving a copy of the Constitution and a picture of Lord Shiva.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a rare intervention after BJP MPs strongly objected to Rahul Gandhi’s remark on Hindus.
Among other leaders, Prime Minister Modi asserted, “It is a very serious matter to call the entire Hindu community violent.”
The Congress MP was asked to apologize by Home Minister Amit Shah for “linking” the BJP with violence.
In addition, the Home Minister strongly objected to Rahul Gandhi’s comparison of the BJP to “violent Hindus”. He demanded an apology from the Congressman.
