Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday vowed to transform Bihar into a hub of the ‘Make in India’ mission. He asserted that only the double-engine government under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar can make this vision a reality.
Addressing a massive public rally in Arrah, PM Modi said that ‘Make in India’ is creating waves across the globe and emphasised, “Our goal for Bihar is that it becomes a hub of this momentous mission.”
Highlighting Bihar’s progress in the fisheries sector, PM Modi said the state once imported fish from other states. Now, it sells fish to other states, showcasing the success of the NDA government’s policies.
PM Modi credited this transformation to the NDA government’s effective policies. He also stated that the NDA’s manifesto focuses on empowering and uplifting Bihar.
Further, he said, “The NDA has presented an honest and visionary manifesto for the development of Bihar. Every promise, every plan is dedicated to Bihar’s rapid development.”
PM Modi Unveils Bihar Vision
The NDA’s agenda, focus, and manifesto deliver clean and robust governance, unlike the Opposition’s ‘jungle raj.’
Taking a sharp dig at the Mahagathbandhan, PM Modi said, “On one side is the NDA’s honest manifesto, and on the other are the jungle raj folks. They have turned their manifesto into a document of lies, deceit, and throwing dust in the people’s eyes.”
He accused the RJD and Congress of internal strife, saying the people of Bihar cannot expect anything good from them as they remain preoccupied with self-serving fights.
The Prime Minister remarked, “Neither was Congress heard in the manifesto, nor are they being considered in the campaigning. Even before the elections, so much hatred has grown that after the elections, they will start smashing each other’s heads.”
PM Modi said the ‘Bihar Dairy Mission’ has brought remarkable changes in the lives of residents.
He assured that the NDA government will create ample job opportunities within Bihar. “We have announced the creation of one crore jobs in the coming years, and the plan for achieving this has been placed before the people,” he said.
He reiterated the NDA’s pledge to ensure that Bihar’s youth work in their home state and bring greater glory to it.
PM Modi announced that the new NDA government will raise the monetary support under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The increase will amount to Rs 3,000.
Farmers currently receive Rs 6,000 annually under the scheme. The NDA government will increase this amount to Rs 9,000 per year.
