LPG Cylinder prices decreased
Oil marketing companies have announced a reduction in prices for 19 kg commercial cylinders and 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinders, according to sources. Effective from April 1, the price for a 19 kg commercial cylinder has been decreased by Rs 30.50, bringing the new price in Delhi to Rs 1764.50. Additionally, the price of 5 kg FTL cylinders has seen a reduction of Rs 7.50.
This announcement comes after oil marketing companies had raised prices for commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders on March 1. Such adjustments are made in response to fluctuations in fuel costs and market dynamics.
Previously, on February 1, prices for Indane gas cylinders varied among metro cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, each with its own rates. However, as March 1 came, consumers experienced a notable increase in Indane LPG gas cylinder prices across all metro cities.
While the specific reasons behind the recent price decrease remain undisclosed, it is speculated that factors such as changes in international oil prices, shifts in taxation policies, and supply-demand dynamics may have influenced these adjustments.
These consecutive revisions underscore the volatile nature of the energy market and its significant impact on households and businesses reliant on commercial LPG cylinders.
