NO Water In 'Cloud 9' For Three Days, Residents Bound To Obtain It From Other Societies
Ghaziabad: For the past three days, a water deficit has plagued Cloud 9, a large complex with 900 flats and thousands of occupants. Residents frequently complain about the builder’s negligence and the lack of water supplies.
Deprived of the comfort of their homes, residents are filled with rage at the given situation. According to residents, they have been constantly complaining about the water supply.
Reportedly around 70 lakh rupees is collected by the society from the residents in the name of maintenance but there is no evidence that the money is actually spent properly. Residents are compelled to travel to other societies to obtain water from there because they lack access to water for bare essentials.
When held liable the maintenance officer refused to provide any information. The builders are not answering the phones as well.
In the quest to solve their problem water tankers are brought but that as well is unable to meet the demands of the thousands of people living in cloud 9.
