Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi
On Tuesday, Congressman Gaurav Gogoi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to remain silent in Parliament necessitated the introduction of a no-confidence vote in order to elicit a response.
PM has made maun vrat
The opposition was forced to introduce the resolution to “break his silence” because the prime minister had made a “maun vrat” (vow of silence) to remain silent in the parliament.
Why is the PM not traveling to Manipur?
“Why has he not yet traveled to Manipur? Did it take him over 80 days to talk in Manipur? Did he just speak for 30 seconds when he did? Why has the Manipur chief minister not yet been removed from office? Gogoi questioned.
The opposition I.N.D.I.A. alliance has tabled the no-trust motion for Manipur because the state deserves justice, according to Gogoi, who was speaking in the Lok Sabha. “We have three questions for him.
1.) Why hasn’t he been to Manipur yet?
2) Why did it take him over 80 days to speak on Manipur, and why did he just speak for 30 seconds when he did?
3. “Why has the chief executive of Manipur not been fired yet?”
Rahul Gandhi, who was just reappointed as a Lok Sabha MP, was stated earlier in the day to start the discussion on the no-confidence motion by Congress top whip K Suresh.
Debate to last for 12 hours
ANI was informed by insiders that the debate would last a total of 12 hours. The time allotted for participation by the ruling BJP is roughly seven hours, while the time allotted for the Congress party is roughly one hour and fifteen minutes.
2 hours for the other parties
A total of two hours have been allotted to the YSRCP, Shiv Sena, JDU, BJD, BSP, BRS, and LJP, distributed proportionally depending on their respective numbers of MPs in the House. Other parties and independent MPs will have a total of 1 hour and 10 minutes to speak.
The no-confidence resolution against the BJP-led government is expected to be discussed in the Lok Sabha on August 8 and 9. On August 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to respond.
