NIA Court Issues Bailable Warrant Of Rs 10,000 Against MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur In Malegaon Blast Case

NIA’s special court in Mumbai has issued a bailable warrant of Rs 10,000 against MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur. The court has registered this warrant in the 2008 Malegaon blast case. MP Pragya Singh is an accused in the case and even after the order from the court she did not appear.

Sadhvi’s lawyer had filed an exemption application on medical grounds but the court rejected it. Along with this, the court issued a bailable warrant which can be returned on March 20.

According to sources, party has not made Sadhvi Pragya a candidate from Bhopal for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The party has made Alok Sharma the new candidate in her place. It is noteworthy that on September 29, 2008, six people were killed and more than 100 were injured due to the blast of an explosive kept on a motorcycle in Malegaon, Nashik city of Maharashtra.
