Irregularities in the NEET exam for medical college admissions have sparked controversy in Prayagraj, also known as Sangam City. Recently, Bihar Police conducted raids in search of a doctor and his son, but failed to apprehend them.
Sources reveal that the accused doctor, identified as RP Pandey, is an orthopedic surgeon who owns a hospital in Prayagraj’s Naini area. Allegedly, he conspired to falsify his son’s NEET application by using a photo of a student from AIIMS Jodhpur and a fake Aadhar card. The doctor’s son was slated to take the exam at DAV College in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where a solver was caught during the exam.
Despite ongoing investigations and raids conducted by Muzaffarpur police, both RP Pandey and his son had absconded prior to the searches in Prayagraj. Hospital staff confirmed that RP Pandey had not been at the hospital for several days, claiming he was away on personal business.
