Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana today where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects worth Rs 13,500 crore. He will also be addressing a BJP rally in the Mahbubnagar district of the poll-bound state. The infrastructure projects to be inaugurated on Sunday include those in key sectors like road, rail, petroleum and natural gas, and higher education.
As per the PMO, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of key road projects that are part of the Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor. Another project of ‘four laning of 59 km long Suryapet to Khammam section of NH-365BB’ built at a cost of Rs 2,460 crore will be dedicated to the nation by PM Modi.
In a statement, PMO said, “The project is a part of Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam Corridor and is developed under Bharatmala Pariyojana. It will also provide better connectivity to Khammam district and coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh.”
The new 37-km section of railway line built between Jaklair and Krishna will be inaugurated by PM Modi. PMO office said in a statement, “Prime Minister will also flag off the inaugural Hyderabad (Kacheguda) – Raichur – Hyderabad (Kacheguda) train service from Krishna station via video conferencing. The train service will connect Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Narayanpet districts in Telangana with Raichur district in Karnataka.”
‘Hassan-Cherlapalli LPG Pipeline Project’, will be inaugurated during his visit to Telangana. As per the reports, the estimated cost of project will be Rs 2,170 crore.
