Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched an initiative called the ‘Mukhyamantri Jan Sewa Abhiyan-2.0’ which was conducted from May 10 to May 31 to redress the problems of the common people in the state. A large number of applications have been disposed of during this period. The disposal of more than 60 lakh cases in a given period is a special achievement. During the campaign, innovations were also made in many districts.

The common application form was prepared in Jabalpur and made available to every rural and urban body. For the applicants, it was easy to get various formalities completed and provide services on time. In Ratlam district, spiritual gurus and people’s representatives did the work of creating awareness among the citizens for the solution of public problems. Street meetings were held in the district and requests were made to apply for desired services by giving yellow rice from house to house. In Bhopal, a provision was made to give appreciation letters and incentive amounts to such officers and employees who made efforts to complete their work cent per cent.
In Morena district, Anganwadi workers and Jan Seva Mitras cooperated in taking such citizens who are elderly and Divyang to the camps. In Betul district, a “right measurement, right knowledge, campaign to eliminate malnutrition” was also launched. Also, in this initiative, physical measurements of children below 5 years of age registered in Anganwadi centres were taken, this initiative was taken to identify malnourished children and provide them with the benefit of a nutrition rehabilitation centre.

“Haq Dastavej, Sahuliyat Aapki Abhiyan” (Rights Document, Your Convenience Campaign) was launched in the Shahdol district. Permission, building completion and no-dues documents were prepared and provided for residential and commercial buildings in urban areas. Evening camps were also organised in wards and panchayats in Damoh district, in which the officers attended and resolved the problems of the citizens.
In the disaster management campaign in the Indore district, the work of issuing fire NOC was done while ensuring the availability of firefighter equipment in the shops and commercial establishments of the urban area. Not only this, training was also given for the use of this equipment. In Narmadapuram, Heartfulness Institute, Hyderabad and Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad jointly benefitted the citizens with a yoga training programme.
In Raisen district, on the sudden death of the beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the work of providing benefits of the scheme to his dependents was done on priority. In the Bhind district, camps were organised in educational institutions to get new learning licenses. Water dialogue programmes were also organised in the Chhindwara district. Discussions and debates were also held regarding water conservation and judicious use of water. The administrative staff in various districts cooperated in the innovations. The benefits of the innovations were also received by the citizens.
