The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election management committee in Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to convene a meeting on Saturday to chalk out its social media campaign strategy. Led by Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, who recently assumed the role of convener for the state’s elections, this will be the committee’s second meeting. During the session, they will assess the preparedness of the state BJP’s social media team.
Joining the meeting will be Union Ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwini Vaishnaw, who have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the elections in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, state unit head V.D. Sharma, and other prominent BJP organizational leaders from the state will also participate.
The main agenda of the meeting will be to review the social media team’s preparations and formulate a comprehensive strategy to counter the opposition, particularly the Congress party. The social media team will build a presentation detailing their readiness and plans.
Notably, the central leadership of the BJP designated Narendra Singh Tomar as the convener of the election committee for Madhya Pradesh. Tomar has extensive experience in Madhya Pradesh, having served there for several years before joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet.
Hailing from the Gwalior-Chambal region, Tomar previously held the position of state BJP President and is known for being a low-profile leader with good relations across various factions within the party. His appointment as convener aims to bring together all senior party leaders and ensure effective coordination during the election campaign.
