MLA Rajeshwar Singh Inaugurates Sindhi Premier League

Remembering the immortal revolutionary Hemu Kulani, who sacrificed his life at the age of just 20, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh proposed the construction of a grand crossroad, installation of a statue and naming of a road in his memory in Sarojini Nagar.

Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh at the inauguration of Sindhi Premier League, where he had arrived as the chief guest said, “Due to sports, we develop team spirit, discipline and decision-making ability, which helps a person in moving ahead in life. There was a huge reduction in sports activities during Covid, children were confined to their homes. Lifestyle diseases have increased due to less outdoor activities.”

On Tuesday, the 4-day Sindhi Premier League National Level Cricket Tournament was organized by Sindhi Council of India (Youth Wing) UP and Lucknow Chapter at Multi Activity Center Park, Ashiana in the capital Lucknow. The grand opening took place. Rajeshwar Singh, who arrived at the program, was also seen encouraging the players and hitting fours and sixes.

Speaking about the Sindhi community at the event, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said that the Sindhi community endured the horrors of partition the most. Sindh province went to Pakistan, the people who came to India at the time of partition have contributed in the progress of the country by taking the least help from the government. Sindhi community contributes the most to India’s GDP, income tax and charity.

For this he also announced to contribute Rs 10 lakh from his MLA fund. He also assured the Sindhi community to encourage their literature and request the Chief Minister to increase the budget for the Sindhi Academy.

Saint Shahzada Sai Mohanlal of Asudaram Ashram, President of Sindhi Council of India (Youth Wing) Prem Khatri, Raju Khatri, Vivek Ladani, Virendra Khatri, Ajay Nemala, Shiv Chawla, Vasudev Chawla and Vikas Srivastava also participated in the event.
