Members of the all-party delegations, visiting key partner countries and UN Security Council states as part of Operation Sindoor’s diplomatic campaign, are expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi after returning to India.
Sources said the meeting could happen over the weekend or early next week.
During the meeting, eminent Parliamentarians and seasoned diplomats will share feedback and results from the extensive global outreach, which aims to build international consensus against terrorism.
India’s Diplomatic Offensive Post-Pahalgam Terror Attack
India launched a global diplomatic offensive after the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.
The offensive followed Operation Sindoor, a major military operation targeting terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Seven delegations, comprising Members of Parliament and former ministers, were formed to convey India’s zero-tolerance message on terrorism.
The teams have been presenting intelligence dossiers and evidence of the ISI’s role in cross-border terrorism.
Their mission aims to isolate Pakistan globally and reinforce India’s national stance on counter-terrorism.
MPs Lead Global Outreach Across 33 Countries
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) coordinated the initiative launched on 21 May.
Delegations led by MPs Shashi Tharoor, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Baijayant Panda, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Supriya Sule and Shrikant Shinde are visiting more than 33 countries by 5 June.
- Baijayant Panda’s team covered Gulf and North Africa,
- Ravi Shankar Prasad’s delegation travelled across Europe and met EU leaders,
- Sanjay Kumar Jha visited East and Southeast Asia, and
- Shrikant Shinde’s team journeyed through West Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa

Each team has shared Operation Sindoor’s details with foreign governments, UN bodies, media, and think tanks to build support for India’s anti-terrorism campaign.
