Meenakshi Lekhi Flags Off ‘Shree Ramayan Yatra’; Train To Take Devotees To 9 Spots

Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Meenakshi Lekhi flagged off the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tour Train under ‘Shri Ramayana Yatra’ from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi.

India celebrated the 22nd of January, the consecration day of Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Temple with great pomp and show. The day was nowhere less than ‘Diwali’, one of the most auspicious festivals for the Hindu community. After the successful consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya’s Mandir, the government has now taken the initiative to take devotees to 9 different spots which are related to the auspicious narrative of ‘Ramayan’. Hence, the name of the program under which this initiative will be fulfilled is named ‘Shree Ramayan Yatra’.

This journey will be through trains. Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Meenakshi Lekhi flagged off the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tour Train under ‘Shree Ramayan Yatra’ from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi on the evening of Sunday, February 4.

Trains to take stoppages at 9 stations related to Ramayan period

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi said that our government has started ‘Shree Ramayana Yatra’ for the devotees of Lord Ram. For this, Ramayan Yatra trains will start running from today itself. This journey will last for 19 days, stopping at 9 stations related to Ramayana.

Foreigners will know about Ramayan Period

Talking about ‘Shree Ramayana Yatra’, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi also said that the passengers traveling in the train are people from outside India. He said that we will make the people of the world see those places that are related to the Ramayana period.
